I can say how I feel about this place in one word: honesty. Honesty can be hard to come by when it comes to your car but these guys have it. They are not out to scam you. I got so much out of my visit to Aamco. I will be a lifelong customer. So thankful to have found them.
This place has always done excellent service on my cars and truck. We even had an issue with DEQ telling us our truck was missing the catalytic converter - I brought it here, the guys put it on the lift, showed me where the cats were and even called Ford and got a spec diagram to take with me back to DEQ, and they didn't charge me a thing for that. I will keep bringing my cars to this place for service. Thank you!

Today I took in my 07' Toyota FJ to have the clutch checked. I know nothing about cars and would've done whatever was suggested. Following the inspection, after speaking with the mechanic, Michael informed me I was just feeling some wear but the clutch was fine. He stated it may go for many more yrs. No inspection fee, honest evaluation and tons of integrity. He even pulled out a new clutch assembly from the shelf and taught me how a clutch works, wears and breaks down. I will go back to this shop in the future. While no money was exchanged, they just earned a customer! I suggest to anyone, especially if you don't know cars,
single Moms, etc - go see Michael at Aloha AAMCO! They do everything, not just transmissions.
This has been my number one stop for auto repairs, Paul at the front desk has always been very helpful making sure I can be safe on the road. I highly recommend this location they are fast and do all repairs right the first time. This is all coming from someone who's had there transmission, cv joint, all 4 brakes, alternator, a wheel hub and bearing done here. All those repairs and not a single problem from them. If you're looking for fair service come here!

I was referred by several other mechanics to "Go See Nate". He is highly respected by the local parts house guys and fellow mechanics. Indeed Nate was all they said, and more, and I was very pleased to work with him. His knowledge and overall experience level helped me very much in dealing with my specific trans issue. Nate is a gold mine, I hope that you realize this.

Dan (the manager at Aamco) is great - extremely helpful and always addresses the issues quickly. I just bought an old 1999 Volvo for my teenage daughter and he did a thorough job in checking out the condition of the car before we bought it. He even offered to use the $100 I paid towards a future repair if anything was missed during his inspection! That's what I call confidence and having pride in your work and excellent customer service.

Great service! Just an oil change this time, but they also noticed some brake lights that were out. They checked with me to make sure I had an extra few minutes before they changed them because they knew I was in a hurry. It's nice to know that they respect my time! They were super quick and very polite. I'll never go anywhere else for any of my car's needs!

The service was good. These guys worked with me to get a payment plan going. It was an overall good experience.
An experience not of what I expected, but exceeded my expectations. The front office manager Daniel captured my trust off the get-go and after many calls to other place, it was his confidence and honesty that brought me in to the shop. Daniel gave me a call at the end of each day giving me the status, breakdown of findings, and options to move forward with. The team seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. Don't let the shop location or the appearance fool you (could use an update), it is not a representation of the people the quality of work you received. The owner of the shop was my driver back to my house while they serviced my car and was a very pleasant gentlemen, emitting the same air of honesty. He stated I was in the best hands possible and now I believe it. I rarely post surveys/comments, but they deserve it! I would strongly recommend AAMCO of Aloha!

Needed major work done on my truck. These guys took it with no problem and had it done in a very timely manner. I would go back to them and recommend them to anyone else. Very friendly people.
Fast service. Complete tranny rebuilt in 2 1/2 days. When I was complaining that the car is still jerking at low RPM's, the technician got into the car with me and he explained in detail that is a misfire that is causing it and how it is felt when the tranny locks into the fourth gear. Hope that it will last and they will provide same kind of service if I ever have to go back to them with over transmission problems since this one comes with 10 years warranty. Went to them after the largest local dealer service department failed to diagnose the tranny problems. This old school guys from AAMCO took the bottom pan out and looked inside the tranny instead of just using the computer to find out the problem. Good luck to you other people with tranny problems, hope you will find a fair shop to fix your car. It may be worth trying AAMCO out as I did. It is always about taking chances anyway.

Kurt (the Mgr) was very customer oriented...excellent. I wish I knew the name of the tech that came "out front"to handle a "shade tree mechanic" son of a customer (Kurt would know), but I was very impressed with his professionalism and mechanical knowledge.

Excellent experience with the AAMCO in Aloha! My first time into this shop. I came across it after a conversation with the owner, Jeff, and I plan to return in the future. As a heads-up, the shop was bustling right after a local storm. They were managing a plethora of customers in parallel. Joseph met me at the counter. The AAMCO team performed a diagnostic and provided multiple different options to address the issue at hand -- a subtle leak near the oil pan seal. The team also proposed several options to tackle a couple secondary issues as well, one of which has been giving us trouble & been rather elusive for about a year. The repair estimates were clearly identified and segregated across a range in costs based on what I chose to do. Joseph did an excellent job addressing all my questions. He also explained the pros & cons of each option well. The information made my decision process easy. Fortunately, my car was in the shop the next day. The repairs took less time than anticipated, and the final costs came in below the repair estimates. Naturally, a pleasant surprise! I'm also pleased to note that about 3 weeks later (i.e. time of this review 3/29), the elusive secondary issue remains resolved. Grateful for the help from the AAMCO Aloha Team & pleased with the result.
Excellent customer service and vehicle service.
The guys were very nice and able to get us in quickly when our oil drain plug fell out. They got the job fast, communication was great and they were able to fix the problem without breaking the bank. Definitely coming back for future oil changes and/or any problems we might come across!
They gave me great info on what was needed for my car. Joseph hooked it up with details that helped me make a decision.
